The Boma

As you step into The Boma, you’ll find yourself surrounded by the beauty of nature and the comforting crackle of a warm fire. Our venue provides the perfect setting for intimate celebrations, where you and your guests can come together and create lasting memories.
As you gather around the fire, we provide five bags of wood to keep the flames dancing throughout your event. If you require additional wood, our on-site facility offers extra bags for a nominal fee of R25 per bag.

At Arch and Arrow, our story is rooted in the pursuit of creating a haven for celebration, togetherness, and the making of extraordinary memories. It all began with the dream of Adéle Luus, the daughter of our CEO and founder, Frans Schütte. Our journey started with the vision to establish a secure space that would serve as a backdrop for cherished gatherings among family and friends. Inspired by the old family boma, nestled beside the tranquil Braemar dam, we built upon its foundation. The result is a sanctuary where the overhanging wooden deck, gracious hall with high ceilings, and rustic chandeliers harmonize with the serene waters and the mesmerizing beauty of the surrounding indigenous trees and the Krokodilpoort in the distance.
